Mabon’s ProtecTimber is a means by which both professional tradesmen and DIY home handymen are able to treat timber with a mineral based technology that provides a long lasting, eco-friendly solution for timber preservation.

The Mabon’s ProtecTimber treatments have provided impressive results when used in indoor situations on house frames and scantling timbers and also when used externally in combination with Mabon’s sealant products ( i.e. Superior Deck Oil & General Purpose Clear).

The application of ProtecTimber provides several impressive benefits to timber as follows :

When applied to timber in an above-ground, covered (H1, H2) situation where it is not exposed to weather, the ProtecTimber treatment can be expected to last for a life-time.

If the timber is in an above-ground, exposed (H3) situation where it is exposed to weather, the ProtecTimber treatment can be expected to last for a life-time when it is sealed and properly maintained with a high class sealant or paint.
